The Lover

Venus-Aphrodite, along with her son Eros, is the goddess of love in Greco Roman myth. She was also the goddess of beauty and held a magnetic allure. Psychologically, the Aphrodite archetype describes how we shine, how we express ourselves, express affection and what we take pride in.
Not entirely without her shadow, Venus-Aphrodite could also be difficult and tempestuous. Similarly, she relates to our capacity for vanity and envy.
